In order to enhance the development of domestic organic materials chemistry and enhance international exchanges, the “Japan-Taiwan Bilateral Symposium on Architecture of Functional Organic Molecules” was held during the fall of each year. This seminar was first organized by Professor Tashin J. Chow (Institute of Chemistry of the Academia Sinica) and Professor Teruo Shinmyozuin (Kyushu University) in 2005, has been held for 10 sessions. The first seminar was held at  Institute of Chemistry of the Academia Sinica in Taipei (2006), followed by Chiayi University (2008), Japan's Fukuoka Kyushu University (2009), Taiwan University (2010), Hiroshima University (2011), and Hsinchu Chiao Tung University (2012). Japan's Fukuoka Kyushu University (2014), Yilan Jiaoxi (2015), and Japan's Miyazaki Prefecture (2017) were held separately. The seminar promoted strong friendship and research cooperation between the participants of Japan and Taiwan. The 11th Japan-Taiwan bilateral functional organic organization was held in 2018 in Tunghai university. The Molecular Construction Seminar provides a platform for exchanges and interactions between multinational scholars, and condenses scholars in the field of organic materials chemistry to further exchange with each other on the basis of existing sciences to promote international and inter-university cooperation. This seminar is an international conference, inviting 13 Japanese scholars to speak in Taiwan and attending the conference with 13 Taiwanese scholars. It is hoped that by hosting this seminar, we will provide opportunities for students to study in the department, doctoral students and university students. It will also help to enhance the research style and academic reputation.
